A Message From Administration
Statistics show that most people have already given up on their New Year’s Resolutions. The promises that we make to ourselves are really important because as we strive to be the best version of ourselves, we have to be consistent in order for us to accomplish our dreams. Research shows that it takes 21 days to create a new habit so I encourage all students to set 3 main goals in the following areas: academic, personal and entourage.
What would it look like for you to do your best on everything?
What skills do you need to develop to be the best you?
How can we push each other toward accomplishing our goals?
I want to encourage you to give your all on your class assignments and to turn in 100% of the work; to figure out your character flaws or personal gaps you have that will block you from being the best version of yourself; and to evaluate your friends or those you hang around so you can push one another toward goal attainment. As an administration team and teacher leaders, we want the best for you. If there is ever anything we can do to help, please reach out and let us know so that we can help you. We are a team so when we lose, we lose together and when we win, we win together. At Northtown, we believe we are meant to be winners so each of us have to play our position in order to help the team.
Let’s work together to make the rest of the month set the tone for the rest of our year. Time to press reset and resolve to accomplish our dreams, one day at a time.
